Esquif

-Expedition worthy, and excellent for day trips-

When the manufacturer of Royalex ceased production in 2014 Esquif saw a big oppourtunity. With 18 years of experience making Royalex canoes they knew they could respond to paddlers needs for a durable, reliable and superior canoe. Esquif’s T-Formex material to the rescue! A superior material for your favourite canoeing adventures whether you are looking for a Touring, Whitewater, Whitewater Touring, Fishing, or Hunting canoe.

But Esquif isn’t just about tough canoes, they are about performance as well. Built by passionate paddlers, the company was founded with the idea of building a better canoe, and that remains their mission today. “Every boat is built the same way today as the first boats I made for my friends and family years ago. It is built to get you on the water and home safe this season and for seasons to come. Oh yes, and we do it with a smile on our face.” - Jacques, Esquif founder.

Below are the models that will be in stock at White Rose Canoe for the 2022 paddling season.  To see the full line or for more information, visit the Esquif website: https://esquif.com/en/

The Huron is pulled from the same mold as the Prospecteur but we trim it down to 12.5”, as opposed to 14.5”. The lower profile reduces the weight and makes it easy to paddle in breezy conditions as either a solo or tandem.
