Aquabound Paddles

As the world's largest manufacturer of quality kayak, stand-up, and whitewater paddles, we remain a privately held company in Northwestern Wisconsin, staffed by paddling enthusiasts. This translates into countless hours spent designing, prototyping, testing, and perfecting each of our paddles. And when that's done, we go back and look at ways to build them even better. Lighter, stiffer, smarter, more durable, and more beautiful. Our customers have found our paddles to be their long-term companions on adventures, both short and long.

StingRay Carbon:     The Sting Ray Carbon has mid-sized blades (91 sq. inches) made of abX resin reinforced with carbon fibers. Couple that with its all-carbon shaft, and this paddle weighs in at just 28.75 ounces, the lightest flat water injection molded kayak paddle available under $200. This gives the Sting Ray Carbon a low swing weight and makes for a more comfortable journey. The Sting Ray Carbon has two ferrule options. In addition to a snug 3-hole snap-button ferrule (0° to 60°, L and R feathering angles), this paddle also offers the Posi-Lok® ferrule system which clicks into position firmly and securely. The Posi-Lok® features strong, corrosion-free composite construction, convenient dual-button release, and infinite feathering angles. Licensed Ferrule US Patent No. 6,881,111.

EagleRay Carbon:     With its lightweight abX carbon fiber blade providing extra strength and stiffness and its all-carbon shaft delivering durability and light weight, the Eagle Ray Carbon paddle is a first class touring choice. This specific blade shape – slim and long – offers extra pull for low-angle paddlers and heavily-loaded boats. The Eagle Ray Carbon has two ferrule options. In addition to a snug 3-hole snap-button ferrule (0° to 60°, L and R feathering angles), this paddle also offers the Posi-Lok® ferrule system which clicks into position firmly and securely. StingRay Hybrid:     The Sting Ray Hybrid is the lightest injection molded kayak paddle available at its price point. With its mid-sized blades built of exclusive Aqua-Bound abXII resin reinforced with fiberglass and its all-carbon shaft, this paddle reduces fatigue and joint strain for flat-water paddlers. Challenge:     The Challenge 85 has a lightweight, all-carbon shaft with a 10° bend to provide low swing weight and a slight shaft flex for very comfortable performance. Its epX engineered polymer blade has enhanced stiffness and strength thanks to its carbon-fiber reinforcement. The blade has an aggressive dihedral down its spine for a smooth, forgiving forward stroke. And the Challenge’s eye-popping Polynesian graphics speak to the origin of paddleboarding – an offshoot of the 1960’s surfing culture of Hawaii. The Challenge’s overall black color makes it an ideal color match for virtually every SUP board. At just 21 oz., the Challenge 85 stand-up paddle – with its all-carbon shaft, grip, and ferrule, and its carbon-reinforced epX engineered polymer blade – is ideal for SUP touring. It’s easy on your joints and muscles whatever your adventure.
